2. Information We Access
Our Watch Faces access specific data types only to provide timekeeping and fitness complications. We categorize this as follows:
- Health and Fitness Data (Steps): Our applications read your device's step count to display it on the watch face. We do not store, log, or transmit this data, and it never leaves your device through our applications.
- Device Data (Battery Level): Our applications read the device battery percentage to display it on the watch face.
- No Collection: We do not collect, store, or share any personal data, IP addresses, or unique device identifiers through our Wear OS Watch Faces. Nothing accessed by our Watch Faces is stored on our systems.
3. On-Device Storage by Wear OS
As part of its normal operation, Wear OS may store data such as step counts, cached display values, and your watch face settings locally on your watch. This data remains on your device, is managed by Wear OS and Google, and is not accessible to us.
4. Google Play and Wear OS
Our Watch Faces are distributed through Google Play and run on Wear OS, both of which are operated by Google. Google may collect information about your device and its use under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. Google Play may provide us with aggregated statistics, such as install counts and crash rates, that do not identify you.
5. Data Deletion
Because our Watch Faces do not collect or store any user data on our systems, there is no data held by us to delete. Data stored locally by Wear OS remains under your control: to remove it, clear the watch face's data in your watch's settings or uninstall the application from your Wear OS device.
6. Data Security
Data accessed by the Watch Face remains on your watch and is protected by the security features of Wear OS. Since no data is transmitted to or from our servers, your information remains entirely within your personal device's secure environment.
